The smoke has cleared, the pits have cooled, and the 2025 Fort Bend County Fair Cook-Off is officially in the books! We’re proud to say that Lonestar Cowboy Cookers closed it out with another solid showing—full of flavor, fun, and a few well-earned wins!
While our fajitas, chicken, and ribs may have gotten lost in the weekend shuffle, we landed 16th place in Brisket—and in a field this competitive, we’ll take it!
Shoutout to the LSCC Ladies!
Our powerhouse women brought the heat once again:
- Leslie Pate took 5th in Gumbo and 10th in Chili
- Shary Pate came through strong with 8th in Stew and 8th in Beans
We’re so proud of their consistent dedication and talent!
